For my next trick, I need to take a small leap back in time a few years, and do the real stabilization work on Berkeley Blues that I never did.  This means that I need an exceptional Blueberry clone, or someone who is already working with Blueberry who is willing to do a little breeding for me.  I need to start some Berkeley Blues seeds and put the pollen of the best male I can find on both Blueberry and Berkeley.  Then, I breed the seeds from the results of both plants together for a more stabilized breed.  Once I have that done, I can do the same with Sugarplum using the more-stabilized Berkeley Blues instead of the F1 version.  At this point, I do have Sugarplum backcross seeds using the F1 stock, but I would like to do it the right way and hopefully get a very stable set  of genetics.  Pit Bull (Sugarplum X P-91) also worked out very well, and should be stabilized in the same manner.  Candy (Sugarplum X Burmese) was not very stable at all and needs work, but the flavor was beyond compare in all of the plants I tested. Got to start over on that one though: forgot to take enough cuttings.  I also have some AK47 feminized outcrosses that somebody might be interested in. I don't have time to play with them. The Crippler 47 probably has some real potential. I also have some Berkeley Blues X Purple Haze that I never got around to; I was going to call it Berkeley Blaze.
